Enlivened

The little moments in each day bring me joy.

The sunlight on my face, a shower of rain during the morn

A hug when I feel overwhelmed by the scores 

Of people who share their burdens-adding onto my own. 

Iced treats, a simple joke, a good friend, and a good time

When things get dark, I can always find,

A small piece of heaven, lifting the fog in my mind.
