Social distancing has been a double edged axe, no sane person believed that it would forever last.
Yet, here we are locked in our homes, becoming more and more addicted our phones.
The economy has fallen from it's pedestal of glory and the origins of our plight remain a fragmented story;
And this trial is transforming the course of history.
While politics rage over playground drama and money, we the people, run through a multi layered maze of anxiety.
We drink and binge with our rescued puppies, combating the closeness of our destructive little guppies.
Entertaining rebel thoughts against public safety, wondering what our fate will be; desiring to once more be free.
Ev'ry cynic and pessimist believes dystopia is forthcoming; a belief not ridiculed anymore as the chaos is stunning.
However, hope fills our chest's with promises of releasing, our ashen society clinging to dreams of rebuilding .
