Noise fills the silence

The emptiness no longer threatens to consume,

Unconsoled sadness fades

Replaced with remembrance,

Fear of acceptance resurfaces.

Rebellious, pushing through

Old skeletons turn to dust

Walls of invisibility,

Show force beyond my strength. 

An abyss pulls the heart apart,

Cells of icy shadows

Lock the demons under watcher's key.

Angels and warriors flee

Captured, chains cast 'round my soul,

Drag into the deep.
